What an incredible day of racing at Riverside Speedway!
The Ladies Acceleration Tour delivered a spectacular show on Saturday, August 9, proving once again that these drivers are as fast and fierce as anyone on the track.
The day kicked off with an inspiring community event, where the drivers participated with giving out 96 backpacks to local kids—a perfect start to a day with a display of great sportsmanship.
On the Track: Destiny Overlock #14 was the star of the show. After a tough setback from a wreck at Wiscasset Speedway, she came back with vengeance, starting on the pole and dominating the race from start to finish. Overlock’s fastest lap of 15.48 seconds was the quickest of the day, sealing her impressive victory.
The battle for second was just as thrilling, with Chrissy Rizzuto # 06x expertly holding off the competition. With a best lap of 15.54 seconds, she showed incredible skill and control to secure a well-deserved second-place finish.
The fight for third was a true nail-biter. Dalaney Dunn #51, known as the “Queen of the Oval,” fought hard against Rhonda Crain #56 to claim the final podium spot. Dunn secured her third-place finish with a fast lap of 15.92 seconds.

A huge thank you to Tiffany and Jade for joining the tour, and a big round of applause to all the ladies for an unforgettable day of fast racing and incredible sportsmanship. It was a day that truly proved these women are running just as fast, if not faster, than some of the men out there!
